Important Upcoming Dates....

It is getting to be a very hectic (and fun) time of year in fourth grade.  I am adding in some important dates to this post, so you know what is going to be coming up for the remainder of the school year.  More information will follow with many of these events, but I wanted to make sure you could add them to your calendar.  J

J  Friday, 5/22- Field trip to the Ecotarium

Please make sure that your child has a bagged lunch with his/her name on it.  Students are not allowed to bring money for the gift shop and electronics are NOT allowed on the bus. 

J  Tuesday, 5/26-Memorial Day Assembly- 1:15 

A notice was sent home with your child last week.  If you are going to dismiss your child after the assembly, you need to send in a note by this Friday.

J  Wednesday, 5/27- ½ day 11:40 dismissal

J  Wednesday, 6/10  Our class, Mrs. Bowen and Mrs. Leger’s classes will walk to Hudson Public Library & Wood Park

We will have the chance to “kick-off” summer reading at the Hudson Public Library.  Your child will have the opportunity to sign up for a library card (if they don’t have one already) and borrow a book for the start of summer.  We will have lunch at Wood Park after.  More information including the permission slip will be coming home with your child this week.

6/17      Grade 4 Fly-Up Day to Quinn- morning  

Fourth graders will get a chance to visit Quinn Middle School.

6/17  Success Day– Regions Fair at 1:00

You will get a chance to see all of the learning that has taken place around the Regions of the United States.  More information will be coming home soon.

6/23  Time Capsule Closing Ceremony – 9:00

Please continue to collect items for your child’s time capsule.  We will start to have students bring in their time capsule in June.  I will be sending home information about that as we get closer to that time.
