Research at Home

          I hope everyone enjoyed the long holiday weekend!  I am sending home the letter below with your child today.  I wanted to post it  on the blog in case it didn't make it home.  :) 

Research Homework

Dear Parents,

          Your child has been working very hard on their Region research project in school.  We are starting to learn about writing another genre for our research this week.  Over the past few weeks your child has been writing the first two “chapters” of their research.  For homework this week, your child needs to finish writing Chapters 1 and 2 in Google Docs.  Everyone should know how to sign in as we have done this many times in school.  If your child is finished with the writing, he/she needs to go back and edit these two chapters.  The finished product for Chapters 1 and 2 is due on Thursday, May 28^th.  Your child does not need to print this at home.  We will print them at school when the entire research project is complete!
