This Week in LL38....

I can't believe that the school year is almost over! It is going to be a busy 2 and a half weeks!

Here are a few reminders:

Farley Fun Day- Thursday (Rain Date: Friday)

• Please apply sunscreen before sending your child to school.
• Pack a labeled water bottle 
• There are water activities, so your child will probably want a change of clothes and shoes.

Fourth Grade Field Trip to Hudson Public Library and Wood Park- This Friday

• IF, Farley Fun Day is postponed due to rain, our field trip will not be on Friday.
• Please encourage your child to wear sneakers.
• Pack a bag lunch for your child.  Please label with your child's name.
• Apply sunscreen at home.
• If your child has a Library card, please have him/her bring it to school on Friday.

Time Capsules- Bring to school Wednesday, June 13th.  We will add some things to the Time Capsule in school and then we will prepare them for our Time Capsule Closing Ceremony on the last day of school.

Region Research

• We will be starting to work on the second part of the Region Research project.  Many students will need to do some research at home this week, so that they will be able to get to the Chapter 2 project.  Working at home to gather research will help your child be more successful during Writing Workshop in school.
