Field Trip
We had a lot of fun on our field trip to the Hudson Public Library and Wood Park on Friday. Thank you to the volunteers that took time out of their day to spend with our class. We were pleasantly surprised that the sun decided to make a visit. We learned all about Summer Reading at the Library and even got to sign up for it. Then we were able to spend some time eating lunch and playing with our classmates at Wood Park. It was a great way to end the week!
Farley Fun Day
We had lots of fun at Farley Fun Day on Thursday as well. The kids did a great job working together as a team at a lot of the activities. We had a friendly tug of war competition, played volleyball, went to the dunk tank, and played many water games. Here are a few pictures from the fun we had that day....
Farley Regional Games
As an end to our school year, and to go along with our regions project in writing, we decided to hold Farley Regional Games. The kids worked in regions groups to create a game that incorporated either measurement conversions or decimals and connected to something that they have learned about their region. Each group needed to determine the math/region connection, the materials needed, specific directions, and a recording sheet for the game. It was a lot of fun to see how creative this group is! I am hoping that we will get a chance to play some of the games this week!
Last Day Dismissal
Your child came home with a notice last week about dismissal after the Time Capsule Ceremony. If you plan on dismissing your child after the ceremony on the last day of school, please send that back in with your child this week!
Have a great week!
